Haut Conseil d’Ariel : un affront aux Haïtiens, dénoncent des organisations de la diaspora

Le Premier ministre Dr Ariel Henry présente son nouveau conseil consultatif

New York, NY, jeudi 22 décembre 2022 –

Le Premier ministre haïtien, le Dr Ariel Henry, a annoncé la création d’un nouveau conseil consultatif pour l’aider à former un nouveau gouvernement de transition en Haïti. Nous rejetons et répudions catégoriquement cette dernière décision, car le Dr Henry conserve son poste de facto mal défini; président/premier ministre/ministre de l’intérieur.

C’est un affront aux millions d’Haïtiens qui n’aspirent qu’à vivre dans la dignité et qui n’obtiennent que du bout des lèvres le reste du monde, sauf les paroles éloquentes mais peu rassurantes prononcées par les représentants des pays composant le Conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies. Dans ce qui est apparemment un effort coordonné pour tromper

les Haïtiens – au pays et à l’étranger – et le reste du monde, le Dr Henry a cyniquement chorégraphié sa décision bien synchronisée avec Madame Helen La Lime, Représentante spéciale du Secrétaire général pour Haïti, alors qu’elle était à ce moment précis, rassurant le Conseil de sécurité de l’ONU que des « négociations » étaient menées par le Dr

Henry avec des parties prenantes haïtiennes, explicitement membres de l’Accord du Montana.

Rien ne pourrait être plus éloigné de la vérité que ce conte. C’est une farce de mauvais goût aux dépens du peuple haïtien puisque le Dr Ariel a prouvé une fois de plus qu’il « négociait » de mauvaise foi avec les différentes parties prenantes en Haïti. Un pays en proie à ses pires crises depuis sa naissance. Il s’agit d’un édit dictatorial du Dr Henry qui exerce un contrôle total sur ce qui reste de l’État d’Haïti alors qu’il a montré de façon flagrante son incapacité à fournir le minimum à une population haïtienne livrée aux caprices des terroristes organisés. Il est grand temps que les États-Unis et la communauté internationale prennent Haïti au sérieux si le monde veut éviter la répétition de la terrible expérience du Rwanda en 1994.

Prime Minister Dr Ariel Henry presents his new board of advisors

New York, NY, Thursday 22 December 2022 – Haitian prime minister Dr. Ariel Henry announced yesterday the creation of a new board of

advisors to help him in the formation of yet another transitional

government in Haiti.

We categorically reject and repudiate this latest decision as Dr. Henry retains his ill-defined de facto job of president/prime minister/head of State/minister of interior.

This is an affront to the millions of Haitians who only aspire to live in dignity and who only get lip service by the rest of the world, save the eloquent but hardly reassuring words uttered by representatives of countries comprising the United Nations Security Council.

In what is apparently a coordinated effort to deceive Haitians -at home and abroad- and the rest of the world, Dr. Henry cynically choreographed his well synchronized decision with Madame Helen La Lime, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Haiti,  as she was at that very moment reassuring the UN Security Council that “negotiations” were being conducted by Dr Henry with Haitian

stakeholders, explicitly members of the Montana Accord. Nothing could be further from the truth than this tale.

This is a farce in poor taste at the expense of the Haitian people as Dr. Ariel has proved once again he has been “negotiating” in bad faith with the different stakeholders in Haiti. A country in the throes of its worst crises since its birth.

This is a dictatorial edict by Dr. Henry who

exerts total control over what is left of the State of Haiti while he has blatantly shown his incapacity to provide the minimum to a Haitian population left to the whims of organized terrorists.

It is high time the United States and the International Community take Haiti seriously if the world wants to avoid the repeat of the terrible experience of Rwanda in 1994.
